The Billboard Music Awards seemed a little dry this year, but when Jordin Sparks and John Legend took the stage for a tribute to the late Whitney Houston, there was not a dry eye in the house. Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s only daughter, sat through the tribute with a smile on her face and tears rolling down her cheeks as she mouthed the words to some of her mom’s most famous songs. When she and her aunt took the stage to accept the Millenium Award on Whitney’s behalf, Bobbi was very happy to see all the support from everyone in the room. She stated,
I just really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all, not just from when it was good, but when it was bad, to just everything. Thank you so much for showing that much love, because she deserved it. I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life. There will never be another one, ever.
