Brandy is officially back in action! Although she’s been busy with her girl Monica promoting their single together, she’s now gearing up for her solo comeback album, “Two Eleven” which is set to be released sometime this summer. It’s just been revealed that Brandy is teaming up with Chris Brown for the first single off the album, “Put It Down”.
Although Brandy didn’t come out and say that he will be featured on her new album, Breezy took to his Twitter page to express his admiration of Brandy’s work when he Tweeted, Brandy is the best female vocalist to me!!!!’
Brandy did an interview with True Exclusives where she opened up about the new track and said that it should be released within the next two weeks.
When asked about the track, Brandy stated, “I don’t have a specific date. It’s definitely going to be in two weeks for sure, a little before [behind the music] or simultaneously.The thing we are working out now is that the single has a feature. It’s both a rapper and singer. Male. But I can say that I was just at my record company the other day and my partner played the updated version of the single with the feature and they are so excited about it. They want it to go to radio like this Friday. That’s how excited they are but the timing is kind of shaky for Friday but that’s how fast they are ready to go. It’s uptempo. It’s really different. It’s very very different. It’s called ‘Put It Down’.”
