Before Gabby Douglas there was Dominique Dawes who made history as the only African American Gymnast to win gold at the Olympics. The legendary gymnast spoke with FOX Sports about being able to witness history being made after doing it herself many years ago.

Dawes got emotional when she spoke about how she was able to be an example for so many African-Americans and now Gabby can be an inspiration as well. Check out the video below.
