Drake Says Aaliyah’s Family Supports New Album

We all know Drake has been talking about executive producing a new Aaliyah album. New music from Aaliyah titled, “Enough Said” featuring the rap star hit the net and received great reviews from the critics. The track consited of old vocals from Aaliyah.

Rashad, Aaliyah’s brother later released a statement via Facebook stating that the Haughton family will not be supporting any new music being released. In a recent interview from Drake’s OVO Fest, he revealed that the family was indeed in support of the album. However this interview did happen before Aaliyah’s brother released the statement. Check out the fotage below.

“The people around her, everybody from her family to her old management and label, were just like, if there’s anybody out that could do it right now, it’s me and 40. And that was an honor.”
