According to Associated Press, Florida state prosecutor Angela Corey has charged George Zimmerman with second degree murder.
Zimmerman has been missing since the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin inside a Sanford, FL gated community. Yesterday Zimmerman’s lawyers Lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig held a news conference to announce, they are no longer working on the case. The two stated, they have not been in contact with Zimmerman and are unsure of his whereabouts. They believe Zimmerman has taken action without consulting with them.
Today, Zimmerman’s new lawyer Mark O’Mara told CNN that his client turned himself into police. A law enforcement official told the Associated Press,
