Iggy Azalea dropped from Interscope Records?

Last year, the female MC announced that she had signed a deal with Jimmy Iovine and Interscope records. According to a close source, the deal was never solid and either Iggy spoke too soon or may have been dropped by the label. She did release “Murder Business” featuring T.I. which is the lead single off her debut album.

T.I. appeared on MTV’s Hip Hop POV and told Bu Thiam, VP of A&R at Def Jam that Iggy is a “Free Agent.” Iggy is currently in talks with a few other labels including Def Jam. You can expect her EP Glory due out this month with features from B.o.B, Big Sean and more.
