In celebration of Heed Magazine being sold nationally in Barnes and Noble book stores, sexy actor, Laz Alonso, graces the cover of the Spring issue. In the interview, Laz opens up about his journey from Wall Street to the big screen, and how pursuing his passion has landed him a spot among some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Laz tells “Heed Magazine” editors, “First and foremost, I know that I wouldn’t be here if God wasn’t blessing me. I really do feel like I’m blessed. I really, in my heart of hearts, feel like I’m blessed.” He goes on to say, “I’m a Christian. I start my day and I end my day with prayer. I pray before every meal. I don’t think there’s anything mystic about it; I just always know that anything I accomplish, it’s because I am blessed to have the opportunity.”
“Heed Magazine’s” Spring issue also features interviews with Dawn Richard, Fred Hammond, Luke James and others and will be available on April 10th.
