Nas has been on the radar heavy lately. He’s the eye-candy in Nicki Minaj’s new music video, he tore up the stage at Hot 97′s Summer Jam last weekend and he is also preparing to release his next album, “Life Is Good”. He made headlines again last week when he released the art work for his upcoming album and had a few heads turning as he posed with his ex-wife Kelis’ infamous green wedding dress that she left behind following their nasty divorce.

The “God Son” recently caught up with Mina Saywhat at Philly’s Power 99 to talk about his first album following the couple’s split and how he felt seeing Kelis’ wedding dress after their divorce.

Yes, it was the real dress. It was in the crib. I didn’t know what to do with it. I don’t think Kelis intentionally left the dress there. I think that was just one of the things that was left behind. I saw it, and it was like ‘wow’, and it’s still in the crib so…I’m not sure if she left it on purpose or what, but I thought it was a good one. I was like “ohh she stung me with that one.” I been through things [that] I thought only happens on TV.

He also opened up about his latest record, “Daughters” and his relationship with his own daughter, Destiny, giving advice for young fathers, just in time for Father’s Day, In addition, he revealed that something “crazy” was supposed to happen during Nicki Minaj’s set at Hot 97′s Summer Jam this year, if the show had of actually went on before she canceled.
