Yesterday, Twitter and Facebook was buzzing that female MC Remy Ma had gotten stabbed to death in her cell. The rumor was started due to the false info that someone typed into her wikipedia page.

Remy called into Funkmaster Flex show on Hot97 last night to clear up rumors that she is not dead. The Bronx MC also revealed that she is schedule to be released in 22 months. In 2008, Remy was sentenced to an eight-years in prison for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph over $2,000. Remy accused Makeda of stealing the money from her purse.

“I don’t know. People are crazy. I was like trending worldwide, maybe we can let this thing rock for a little minute. People have nothing to do with their lives sometimes so they just say things and then it gets out of control and other people say it, I don’t know. I just know they were looking for me crazy all throughout the prison.”

Brooklyn Rapper Papoose, who is Remy’s husband also cleared up the rumors via Twitter, “Just left my wife on the visit 2day @ 330 she was and still is fine yall haters need 2 get a life @freeremyma.”
