Rihanna called into the Ryan Seacrest show today to dish on her new blonde look, new movie, “Battleship”, and of course, Chris Brown. When asked about her decision to collaborate with Breezy, Rihanna explained “I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really–it made sense to do the record.” She also went on to say, “the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track.”

Both tracks (“Birthday Cake Remix” & “Turn Up The Music”) are hot, so I guess Rihanna and Chris Brown made the right decision! Listen Rihanna’s interview on Ryan Secrest below!
