TMZ reported Rodney King has died at the age of 47. He was found at the bottom of a pool by his fiancee Cynthia Kelley early yesterday morning in Rialto, CA. Kelley says, she King was drinking ans smoking weed before drowning.

Law enforcement officials responded to a 911 call at 5:25 A.M. PST. Rodney was removed from the pool and the officials attempted to perform CPR, but it was too late. King was announced dead at 6:11 A.M.

In 1991, Rodney King made headlines when he became a victim of police brutality by the L.A.P.D. The officers involved were put on trial but eventually the case was acquitted. The unjust verdict led to the L.A. riots.

However, friends of Rodney are not buying Rodney’s fiance’s story. They say, her story has changed too many times.
