Our condolences continue to go out to Tameka Raymond and her family as today she laid her 11-year-old son, Kile Glover, down to rest. As we previously reported, Kile was seriously injured after he was struck in the head by a jet ski earlier this month which left him brain dead. Although he was on life support for days, Tameka made the brave decision to remove her son from support, causing his passing. Today, in Atlanta, GA, hundreds of friends and family gathered to say goodbye to Kile for the last time. Tameka Raymond has finally spoken out about the tragedy, saying that her son’s death will not be in vain. She also announced the Kile Glover Fund which will help raise awareness for water safety.
“I appreciate the hundreds, perhaps thousands of prayers. I’m so grateful to you guys. Kile was the most fun, creative, sweet, respectful boy. Many have asked where to send flowers, but in Lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a contribution to the Kile Glover Fund @ Bank of America. Our goal to to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this. Sorry, I gave half info Bank of America Acct # 3340 3823 9828 OR via PayPal TheKileGloverFund@gmail.com … I love you guys.”
