Diddy & Drink Distributor Diageo Settle Racism Lawsuit Over DeLeón Tequila

Diddy and Drink Distributor Diageo have settled the racism lawsuit filed by the hip hop mogul last year. As previously reported, Diddy filed a suit alleging that the company had racist intentions behind neglecting his brand, DeLeon Tequila.

A joint statement from Diddy and Diageo says that both parties have resolved the suit, Diddy has withdrawn his allegations, and they no longer have any business together.

Additionally, Diageo is now the sole owner of DeLeon.

“Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diage and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diage with prejudice. Diage and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Ciroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.”
