Another New Judge Assigned To Young Thug RICO Case After Two Recusals
Judge Paige Reese Whitaker has been assigned to Young Thug’s RICO trial after two previous judges recused themselves. Judge Ural Glanville stepped down following a motion from Thug’s lawyer, and Judge Shukura Ingram recused herself due to a conflict involving her deputy. Whitaker, a former Fulton County prosecutor, aims to provide a “speedy” and “fair” trial for the rapper, who has faced significant delays since November.
