New Evidence Links Keefe D to Tupac Shakur’s Murder Night
The murder trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, accused of orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s 1996 killing, has taken a dramatic turn with the discovery of evidence linking him to Las Vegas on the night of the murder. Keefe D, a self-described Compton Crip ganglord, has been in custody since September with a $750,000 bail. Despite his ability to post bond, a judge denied his release due to the gravity of the charges.
Recent findings reveal that a room at the Monte Carlo Resort (now Park MGM) was booked under the name of Keefe D’s wife, Paula Clemons, on September 7, 1996. Additionally, a reservation at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino was made under Keefe D’s nephew, Orlando Anderson, who is alleged to have fired the fatal shots.
These revelations, uncovered by prosecutors and reported by The U.S. Sun, challenge Keefe D’s defense claims of no evidence placing him in Las Vegas on the night of the shooting. Investigators are now examining hotel records, surveillance footage, and reinterviewing witnesses to strengthen their case. Conversations with people connected to Keefe D’s gang are ongoing, suggesting more developments may be forthcoming as the trial progresses.
