T.I. & Tiny Accuse Sabrina Peterson of Dodging $96K Restitution After Failed Lawsuit

Published

on

T.I. and Tiny are accusing their former friend Sabrina Peterson of deliberately avoiding a $96,702 restitution payment after losing a defamation lawsuit against the couple. The legal filing, obtained by In Touch, claims Peterson has not complied with the court order that required her to pay legal fees by January 15th. Their attorney stated:

“For nearly a year, [Sabrina] has evaded statutory sanctions… She has willfully violated a court order.”

The couple’s legal team also argued that Peterson used the lawsuit to garner media attention, writing:

“[She] took advantage of the legal system by filing a ‘kitchen sink’ complaint, hoping that the nature of her allegations would attract enough media attention, which would then, in turn, put pressure on [T.I. and Tiny] to settle.”

Additionally, the document notes that Peterson publicly refuted her obligation to pay on social media and has yet to respond to the recent legal motion. The couple seeks further court intervention to enforce the payment and accountability for Peterson’s alleged violations of California law.
