Porsha Williams Wins Legal Battle Over Prenup With Ex-Husband Simon Guobadia

Porsha Williams recently scored a legal victory in her ongoing divorce proceedings against ex-husband Simon Guobadia. A Georgia court ruled that their prenuptial agreement was “empirically unfair,” denying Guobadia’s attempt to enforce it. Guobadia’s motion sought additional discovery, claiming that Williams’ return to reality television was a misrepresentation and should render the prenup unenforceable. However, the court sided with Williams, noting that her professional plans were not part of the prenup, and denied Guobadia’s motion for more discovery.

The prenuptial agreement, originally designed to prevent expensive litigation, became a key point of contention during the divorce. Williams’ legal team successfully argued against the prenup’s enforcement, stating that it unfairly restricted her ability to return to television. Guobadia’s emergency motion, which claimed that Williams had misrepresented her intentions, was rejected due to insufficient grounds.

This ruling clears Williams of the prenuptial restrictions and sets a significant precedent for the next phase of their legal battle.
