Casanova Reveals Tory Lanez Sent Him Financial Support During Federal Case

Rapper Casanova recently took to social media to reveal that Tory Lanez helped him out financially during his federal case, showing a surprising bond between the two artists. Despite both facing significant legal troubles, with Casanova sentenced to over 15 years for racketeering and narcotics charges and Lanez serving a 10-year sentence for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, Lanez extended his support in a time of need.

In an Instagram story, Casanova shared that Lanez sent him enough money to last for an entire year during his trial. “@ToryLanez you one of the realest niggas I ever met,” Casanova wrote, expressing his gratitude. “How you in jail looking out for a nigga in jail.” He praised Lanez for his generosity, despite the fact that both were battling legal issues at the time. “I love ya heart, I love ya soul. Free us til you see us!” Casanova added.

This moment of appreciation contrasts with a past interaction between the two in 2022, when Casanova approached Lanez at a club, initially causing some tension before the situation was diffused. Their connection deepened as Lanez’s aid came at a critical time for Casanova, further linking the two artists as they face extended time behind bars.

Tory Lanez has been active even while incarcerated, attempting to launch his “Prison Tapes” series to help inmates through music, though his efforts were cut short when his recording equipment was confiscated. Lanez blamed this on his success in helping other inmates through his initiative, continuing to make an impact behind bars.

Both artists remain incarcerated, with Casanova serving a 15-year sentence and Lanez a 10-year term.
