Diddy Accused of Armed Kidnapping in Plot to Blow Up Kid Cudi’s Car Over Cassie

Diddy has been accused of armed kidnapping and plotting to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, according to newly released legal documents. The accusations emerged as part of the larger case against Diddy, who was recently indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other serious crimes. The charges stem from a December 2011 incident in which Diddy and an accomplice allegedly held a victim at gunpoint while breaking into Kid Cudi’s home. Two weeks later, Diddy’s associates allegedly set fire to Cudi’s car by using a Molotov cocktail.

This plot was reportedly part of Diddy’s anger over Kid Cudi dating his ex-girlfriend Cassie. During Paris Fashion Week in 2012, Diddy allegedly told Cassie he intended to blow up Cudi’s car, and a short time later, Cudi’s vehicle exploded in his driveway.

Prosecutors also claim that several witnesses are prepared to testify about Diddy’s involvement and that he bragged about the arson. While Kid Cudi’s name isn’t directly mentioned in the indictment, the details align with allegations made by Cassie in her lawsuit against Diddy in 2023, which was quickly settled.

Diddy has pled not guilty to all charges and could face up to life in prison if convicted.

This latest accusation adds to the mounting legal troubles surrounding Diddy’s alleged criminal enterprise, which federal prosecutors say involved drug use, violence, and coercion of women.Diddy has been accused of armed kidnapping and plotting to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, according to newly released legal documents.
