Wendy Williams Reacts to Diddy’s Arrest

Wendy Williams, the former daytime talk show queen, has addressed the recent arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs, stating it was “about time” the music mogul faced legal consequences. Diddy is currently awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Williams discussed the infamous video of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, calling it “horrific” and expressing concern about how many other women may have been victimized. “To see this video of [Cassie] being pummeled… it was just horrific,” Wendy said in an interview with The Daily Mail. “But now you have to wonder—how many times did this happen? How many more women were victims? It’s just so terrible.”

Wendy has had a rocky history with Diddy, dating back to the late ’90s when rumors circulated that Diddy got her fired from Hot 97 after she hinted at his personal life on-air. This claim has since been confirmed by both Charlamagne Tha God and former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal, with Charlamagne noting that Diddy had the power to have Wendy removed from her position at the time.

Williams, 60, who has faced her own health struggles, including an aphasia diagnosis, reassured her fans that she is “doing good” amid the ongoing challenges.
