TikTok Denies Viral Rumors of Elon Musk Acquisition

TikTok has officially dismissed viral reports suggesting Elon Musk is in talks to acquire the platform, calling the claims “pure fiction.” The rumors circulated online amid speculation that TikTok might face a U.S. ban unless sold due to national security concerns.
A TikTok spokesperson stated, “We cannot be expected to comment on pure fiction,” shutting down the speculation entirely. Meanwhile, discussions continue in the U.S. government over TikTok’s future, with a Supreme Court decision expected by January 19 regarding a bill that could force TikTok’s U.S. operations to be sold.
Elon Musk has not publicly addressed these rumors. The situation remains uncertain, but for now, TikTok firmly denies any plans involving Musk or a sale.
