Dave Chappelle Hilariously Explains Why He Wasn’t Invited To Diddy’s Alleged “Freak-Off” Parties

Dave Chappelle didn’t hold back during his recent monologue on Saturday Night Live, joking about Diddy’s legal troubles and the allegations of “freak-off” parties tied to the Bad Boy mogul. As Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, Chappelle used his trademark humor to distance himself from the controversy.

“I’ve been in trouble in my day, but this guy Puffy… he’s in an enormous amount of trouble,” Chappelle said, referencing Diddy’s RICO case. When asked if he knew anything about the alleged parties, Chappelle quipped, “Nah, man. I didn’t know anything about [the] freak-offs.” He added humorously that his absence might be due to his appearance: “I’m too ugly for that. Can you imagine finding out everyone in Hollywood had an orgy behind your back? None of y’all called me. That really hurts.”

Chappelle further poked fun by referencing internet rumors involving Diddy and Family Matters actor Reginald VelJohnson. “I saw something on the internet — probably not true — but it said Puff was in the back with Carl Winslow. And I thought, ‘Oh my God. Carl Winslow? And I wasn’t invited? It’s worse than I thought!’”

Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, awaits trial in May. Meanwhile, Chappelle’s jokes have once again sparked laughter and conversation, highlighting his ability to blend humor with cultural commentary, even in the most serious of situations.
