50 Cent Declares He Still “Runs New York” After Becoming the Most-Streamed NYC Rapper

Despite not releasing an album in over a decade, 50 Cent has claimed the title of the most-streamed rapper from New York in 2024, amassing 1.89 billion YouTube streams over the past year. He outpaced other NYC heavyweights like JAY-Z (721 million streams), Nicki Minaj (1.43 billion), and Cardi B (921 million). Sharing the milestone on Instagram, 50 reminded fans of his dominance: “I told you I run New York in ‘05, Nothing has changed! LOL Don’t believe me check the numbers.”
Rounding out the top NYC streamers were Pop Smoke (715 million), A$AP Rocky (619 million), and Biggie (567 million).
