Keefe D Gets Into A Fight With Fellow Inmate While Awaiting Tupac Murder Trial

Keefe D, the man charged in connection with Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, has reportedly been involved in a violent altercation at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.
According to TMZ, the 60-year-old inmate, born Duane Davis, engaged in “mutual combat” with another inmate, exchanging closed-fist strikes and even putting his opponent in a headlock. The fight was eventually broken up after a guard used pepper spray on both men.
As a result, Keefe D is now facing an additional charge of battery. However, he insists that he was simply “standing his ground” and did not instigate the altercation.
Keefe D, a longtime figure in the Tupac murder investigation, was arrested in September 2023 and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Despite his plea, he has made controversial statements in past interviews and his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, where he hinted at knowing details about Tupac’s killing.
Originally set for November 2024, his murder trial was pushed back and is now scheduled to begin on March 17, 2025.
