Coi LeRay has officially signed with Epic Records, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reveals. The rapper and singer, who is also partnering with new management under Cory Litwin at Range Media Partners, is gearing up to release her highly anticipated EP, What Happened to Forever, at midnight on February 12.

In her announcement, Leray shared her excitement about the new chapter, saying, “Epic is one of those labels who understands me as an artist and as a person, and I’m super appreciative of that.” She continued, “They support me rather than try to tell me what to do, and that’s all an artist can ask for when it comes to signing with a major label.”

Previously, Leray released music through Republic Records and Island Records, both Universal Music Group subsidiaries. Her 2023 platinum hit “Players” earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance in 2024, as well as another nomination for Best Pop Dance Recording for her feature on David Guetta’s “Baby Don’t Hurt.”

What Happened to Forever is described as an intensely personal, five-track project with production by Tommy Brown, CashMoney AP, ItsnotHarold, and Johnny Goldstein. The EP marks Leray’s first release since her 2024 EP Lemon Cars. Reflecting on the inspiration behind her new music, Leray shared, “I’m still healing right? So it’s something I don’t want to speak about, but I guess I can say I let the music speak for me.”
