50 Cent Fires Back at Joe Budden Over Therapy Comments Following Irv Gotti Death Reaction

50 Cent has clapped back at Joe Budden after the podcast host suggested the rapper needed therapy following his controversial response to the death of Irv Gotti.

After Gotti’s passing on February 5, 50 Cent posted an Instagram photo of himself smoking hookah next to a fake tombstone, captioning it, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL.” Budden criticized the post on his podcast, calling it in poor taste and advising 50 to handle his emotions more privately, saying, “If 50 feel like that, then go smoke a cigar in the cigar room.”

The feud reignited after Budden blamed 50 Cent for the cancellation of a concert celebrating former drug lord Big Meech, advising the rapper to seek therapy. 50 responded in typical fashion, mocking Budden’s past sleepwalking incident where he was found naked in a hallway.

“Stay out my mix Joe talking about I need therapy,” 50 posted, adding, “B_itch you need to stop walking around naked. The f**k is you doing in the hallway with ya balls out PUNK!” He then trolled Budden on Instagram, sharing photos from the incident and questioning, “How you open the damn door if you sleep fool?”

Budden, however, stood by his comments, stating on his podcast that both 50 Cent and Kanye West need mental help. “Kanye West needs therapy. 50 Cent needs therapy,” Budden said, asserting that mental health needs to be addressed in hip-hop.
