Garcelle Beauvais’ Exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Sparks Reactions from Former Costars

Garcelle Beauvais’ departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has left fans and cast members alike with plenty to talk about. On Tuesday, March 25, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, former co-stars Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John shared their thoughts on Beauvais’ announcement that she was leaving the show after five seasons.

Initially, both Jayne and Saint John were tight-lipped, which surprised and frustrated host Andy Cohen. “You have no thoughts on it?” he pressed. “Neither of you?”

After a brief moment of playful hesitation, the two women opened up about Beauvais’ exit.

Saint John, who joined the show this season, expressed her disappointment at the timing of Beauvais’ departure. “I am disappointed that she is departing like this,” she said. “I wish that she would’ve stuck around to work out another season.” By “like this,” Saint John was referring to Beauvais’ dramatic exit from the RHOBH season 14 reunion, where she stormed off the set after an emotional outburst. “I’m really pissed right now. So, I don’t want to answer anymore questions, honestly … I am just so f—— sick of it,” Beauvais had vented, before walking off stage. “Everybody can go f— themselves, I don’t care,” she added, later revealing her distrust of her fellow cast members in private conversations. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them,” she said. “They’re all f—— a—––.”

Saint John acknowledged the difficult nature of Beauvais’ exit, telling Cohen, “I don’t think it’s a high note.”

Erika Jayne, on the other hand, spent much of the evening making catty comments about her former co-star, but toward the end of the show, she softened. “Garcelle, I just really wish you stuck it out. I just really do,” Jayne said sincerely. “I know that I’ve been catty tonight. I know you’ll do well, but I just wish you stuck it out.”

While it’s clear that Beauvais’ departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills left a mark on her former castmates, it remains to be seen how her exit will impact the show’s dynamic in the future. Fans are sure to continue following the drama as the RHOBH franchise moves forward.
