Young Scooter’s death has been officially ruled an accident by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office in Atlanta, following the release of an autopsy report on April 1. The report reveals that the rapper died from a penetrating wound to his thigh, which caused fatal blood loss. Contrary to previous claims, the Medical Examiner clarified that the wound was not from a gunshot but rather an injury sustained from organic wooden fencing material and/or woody debris after jumping at least one fence.

Young Scooter, born Kenneth Bailey, tragically passed away on March 28, the same day as his 39th birthday. Authorities responded to a 911 call at a home on William Nye Drive in Atlanta, where the caller reported gunshots and a bloody woman being pushed out of the house. Upon arrival, police found Scooter and another man running from the scene. Scooter was later found with the injury, which occurred while attempting to escape by jumping a fence. Despite efforts to help him, he succumbed to his injuries.

In a surprising turn, rapper Young Thug shared a post on social media suggesting that the autopsy had indicated that Young Scooter was shot, a statement that contrasts with the official findings from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
