Quinta Brunson and Kevin Anik Announce Divorce After Three and a Half Years of Marriage

Quinta Brunson, the Emmy-winning creator and star of the hit series Abbott Elementary, has filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Anik, after three and a half years of marriage. The actress and writer filed the paperwork in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the couple, who married in 2021 following a July 2020 engagement, had a postnuptial agreement in place. Brunson is requesting that the court divide their property based on the terms of that agreement. The couple has no children together.

Despite their relatively private relationship, Brunson did mention Anik in her Emmy acceptance speech for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Abbott Elementary. However, the pair has kept a low profile, rarely sharing personal details or relationship updates on social media.

Brunson, who has made a significant mark in Hollywood not just as an actress but also as a comedian, writer, and producer, has had a remarkable career. She has earned two Emmy Awards and nine nominations, cementing her place as one of television’s most talented creatives.
