Amber Rose Defends Trump Support, Says He’s “Already Changing Our Country for the Better”
Amber Rose is doubling down on her support for Donald Trump, claiming that the former critics who once tried to cancel her are now silent. In an interview with Maxim as their February cover star, Rose stated, “During the election, I was ‘canceled.’ Now? All the naysayers are quiet. They see he’s already changing our country for the better.”
Last summer, Rose sparked controversy by speaking at the Republican National Convention, where she explained her decision to align with Trump. “I let go of my fear or judgment of being misunderstood, of getting attacked by the left, and I put the red hat on,” she said during her speech. She believes the left wanted her to hate Trump and his supporters but says she chose to think differently.
Rose criticizes what she sees as cancel culture from liberal circles, saying, “Unfortunately, the ‘woke’ left cancels people for having a different ideology.” She emphasized that she doesn’t care about backlash and will continue to stand firm in her beliefs. “As a society, we all need to get back to reality and have these difficult conversations to bring us all back to a better place,” she added.
Though she’s still exploring her political voice, Rose hasn’t ruled out a future in public service, hinting at the possibility of running for office someday. For now, she aims to inspire others to stand firm in their beliefs, no matter the opposition.
