Amber Rose Says People From South Philadelphia Aren’t Traditionally Attractive

I don’t know about this statement here that Amber Rose made on Revolt’s drink Champ’s Podcast with rapper N.O.R.E.. She made a statement about people from South Philadelphia not being traditionally attractive. I know a few women from South Philly or just Philly alone who I personally think look better than Amber but I guess that depends on what you think is pretty or attractive.

“I don’t know how I can say this without sounding [expletive] up, but a lot of the people where I’m from aren’t traditionally attractive people,” Rose said. “For me, being blessed with beauty, as beautiful women know, is a blessing and a curse. To grow up in such an area and be blessed with beauty, it was very difficult for me.”

Amber also said while she lived in Philly, people didn’t believe that she born and raised there and that she must be “from California” because of her looks.

“They’re like, ‘Nah, you’re not from there from there,’” Rose said. “I’m like, ‘I was born and raised at Broad and Ellsworth.’”

“I never felt like I belonged there,” Rose said. “I always felt bigger than the city was. It wasn’t big enough for me.”

Check out the video at about 2:30 seconds into it is where she starts speaking on the lack of attractive people that are in South Philly.
