ASAP Rocky Requests Court to Avoid Using N-Word During Trial

ASAP Rocky’s ongoing trial took an unexpected turn when he appeared to request that the court refrain from using the N-word during proceedings.

Rocky is facing charges for allegedly shooting at former associate ASAP Relli in 2021. While Rocky’s defense claims the gun in question was merely a prop incapable of firing real bullets, Relli insists it was a real firearm and says the incident has led to death threats and social media harassment.

During yesterday’s hearing, Rocky’s lawyer read aloud text messages containing the N-word. The rapper immediately interjected, saying, “Your Honor, can we refrain from…” before being cut off by the judge, who instructed him to speak with his counsel. The judge then ruled that moving forward, everyone in the courtroom should say “N-word” instead.

The trial saw other heated moments, including an outburst from Relli, who accused Rocky’s legal team of exposing him to further threats. “Why are you showing my Instagram? I’m already getting death threats… People threatening my daughter, like, what’s going on here?” he said before the judge called a recess.

Meanwhile, Rihanna made her second courtroom appearance in support of Rocky, sitting in the front row. While she remained serious, TMZ reported she appeared more relaxed than during her initial appearance. Her presence quickly became a trending topic, with courtroom sketches of her circulating online.
