Atlanta Rapper Young Scooter Shot and Killed In Atlanta on His 39th Birthday

Atlanta rapper Young Scooter is reportedly dead after being shot and killed on his 39th birthday in a shooting near downtown Atlanta. Police are investigating the deadly incident, which occurred just blocks away from State Farm Arena, where the Sweet 16 of the NCAA College Basketball tournament was taking place.
The shooting was reported around 6:45 p.m. on Friday near the intersection of Luckie and Mills streets. Upon arrival, officers found a male with an apparent gunshot wound and rushed him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.
At this time, the victim’s identity has not been officially released, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not confirmed whether anyone is in custody or identified a suspect. There is also no indication that the shooting is related to the NCAA tournament.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear as the investigation continues.
