AT&T Reveals Hackers Stole Records of Nearly All Cellular Customers’ Calls and Texts
AT&T announced that hackers accessed records of calls and texts from nearly all its cellular customers between May and October 2022. The stolen data includes telephone numbers but not personal information like Social Security numbers or the content of calls and texts. AT&T is working with law enforcement and has taken steps to enhance security. Affected customers are being notified through multiple channels.
