Cardi B Expands Her Empire: Launching Her Own Apparel and Beauty Brand with Revolve Group Partnership

Cardi B is not just launching another celebrity brand — she’s building her legacy. Since her breakout year in 2017, the Grammy-winning rapper, actress, and entrepreneur has worked with major names like Fashion Nova, Reebok, and NYX, and has launched her own vodka-infused whipped cream company, Whipshots. Now, she’s partnering with Revolve Group to create her first owned apparel and beauty lines, signaling a bold step in her business evolution.
Through this exclusive venture, the Bronx-born artist and the California-based retailer have ambitious goals to create a billion-dollar powerhouse, starting with beauty and fashion brands. Revolve Group, known for its e-commerce success and roster of 29 brands, is expanding into beauty with Cardi B’s unique vision driving the creative direction.
In an exclusive interview with WWD, Cardi B explained her approach to this partnership, emphasizing authenticity and quality. “I want my brand to have that one piece that you buy, that you love, that makes sense,” she said, underscoring her commitment to well-crafted, tailored pieces that fit her customers just right.
Her dedication to legacy and ownership is clear. “I’m ready and want my own brand. I want it to be owned by me,” Cardi B said, reflecting on conversations with her longtime manager and creative partner, Patientce Foster. The idea of creating a lasting business, not just relying on music royalties, is a crucial motivator for the star.
The partnership between Cardi B, Revolve Group, and a select team of creatives — including Foster, stylist Kollin Carter, and the marketing agency Walker Drawas — is rooted in a shared vision of longevity and authenticity. “This is a lifetime brand, not a fling or trend,” Foster added.
For Revolve Group, Cardi B’s global following is an asset that will help the company expand its reach, especially in regions where the brand has less presence, like Latin America and parts of Asia. The venture’s focus is on creating products that resonate with Cardi B’s personal style and passions, from red-carpet glam to beauty essentials.
Despite her towering celebrity status, Cardi B remains grounded in her vision. “I do this for me, not for everybody else,” she said, reflecting on the value of legacy, ownership, and creating something her children can inherit beyond her music career.
With their sights set on long-term success, the partners are preparing for a future that spans beyond the initial product drops, focusing on cultivating a brand that will thrive for years to come. Cardi B’s bold new business venture is shaping up to be more than just a series of products — it’s about building something timeless, and with the power of Revolve Group behind her, it’s a move that’s bound to make waves.
