Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson Clashes with Shannon Sharpe Over Sharelle Rosado’s New Podcast Deal

It seems Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson isn’t taking the latest business move by his ex-fiancée, Sharelle Rosado, lightly. The former NFL star appeared visibly upset after Rosado’s Humble Baddies podcast officially joined Shannon Sharpe’s Shay Shay Media network. Johnson, who co-hosts the Nightcap podcast with Sharpe, took to social media to vent his frustrations, hinting at cutting ties with both Sharpe and Shay Shay Media.

“Y’all got me f**ked up!” Ochocinco wrote on X (formerly Twitter), signaling his discontent with the sudden partnership. He even threatened to sever his relationship with Sharpe’s hit show, Nightcap, claiming he was blindsided by the announcement.

Sharpe’s media company welcomed Rosado and her co-hosts, Ashley and Alexis, with open arms. “We’re proud to announce that #HumbleBaddies has joined the Shay Shay Media family!” the company shared, celebrating the podcast’s arrival. This move stirred the pot, considering Rosado’s past relationship with Ochocinco and her previous guest appearances on Nightcap during their engagement.

Shay Shay Media attempted to downplay the tension by responding to Ochocinco with, “It’s not personal, it’s business 😊.” However, the lighthearted reply didn’t sit well with him, leading many to question whether his reaction was genuine anger or his usual trolling antics.

Despite his heated comments online, Ochocinco maintained professionalism by appearing on Nightcap as scheduled, suggesting that he might not be ready to “fumble the bag” after all. Fans are divided, with some believing he’s sincerely hurt by what they call a “Bro Code” violation, while others think it’s just another example of his playful, over-the-top humor.

Whether Ochocinco’s frustration is genuine or exaggerated, one thing is clear: mixing business with personal relationships can get messy. For now, both Johnson and Rosado seem focused on their respective projects, but the drama surrounding Shay Shay Media isn’t over yet.
