DJ Akademiks Retracts Allegations Against LeBron James and Drake

DJ Akademiks has retracted his previous claims suggesting that Drake facilitated extramarital affairs for LeBron James. During a conversation with streamer Kai Cenat, Akademiks expressed regret over his earlier statements, acknowledging the backlash they received. He stated, “I love LeBron. That’s one of our national icons, so we got to hold down his legacy. We got to hold down his reputation. We love LeBron. Everything I said was cap. This s**t is not real.”
This retraction follows a series of events where Akademiks had alleged that Drake and LeBron engaged in “two mans,” implying coordinated infidelities. These assertions led to significant criticism from fans and media figures alike. Notably, Wack 100 defended LeBron, stating, “LeBron has never cheated on his wife. That is a lie.”
Additionally, Charlamagne Tha God cautioned Akademiks about potential legal repercussions, emphasizing the importance of responsible reporting. He remarked, “You can’t be out here making these kinds of allegations without concrete evidence. It’s reckless and could lead to serious consequences.”
