Fivio Foreign Jailed Since January on Weapons, Terroristic Threats Charges

Fivio Foreign has been sitting behind bars in a New Jersey jail since January, facing multiple charges. However, his attorney, Adam Lustberg, believes the case against him is far from strong.

Speaking exclusively to TMZ Hip Hop, Lustberg, who has represented Fivio for years, expressed confidence that the rapper will be released within the next couple of months. Lustberg described the case as “the weakest” he’s encountered in his 21-year legal career.

The charges stem from an incident on New Year’s Day in Edgewater, New Jersey, where Fivio is accused of pointing a gun at a woman who had asked him for a jumpstart for her car. According to police reports, Fivio allegedly threatened the woman, saying, “If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a f****** problem.”

Witnesses who recognized Fivio reportedly called 911, and later gave statements to officers. Surveillance footage from the apartment complex in question is said to corroborate the woman’s story.

Fivio was arrested on January 18 and faces five charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault. However, Lustberg pointed out that police never recovered a firearm from Fivio, and he remains adamant that the charges lack substantial evidence.

As the case unfolds, Fivio’s legal team is pushing for his release, believing that the allegations against the rapper are unsubstantiated and will eventually be dropped.
