Gunna Surrenders to Atlanta Authorities on Charges of Racketeering

It looks like Gunna is gonna be pushin’ a different kind of “P” now. 

The Atlanta rapper Gunna, (whose government name is Sergio Kitchens) best known for his Billboard Top 10 hit “Pushing P,” has been detained in Fulton County prison as part of an investigation into an alleged street gang officials say have committed multiple murders, shootings robberies and carjackings; accumulating for almost 10 years.

Gunna has been booked into the Fulton County prison on RICO charges. His first appearance in court is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

According to FOX Atlanta, The 88-page indictment filed Monday in Georgia’s Fulton County quotes lyrics from multiple music videos as evidence and accuses alleged gang members of committing violent crimes to collect money for the gang, promote its reputation and enhance its power and territory.

At a news conference announcing the charges, on Tuesday, Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis stated:

”It does not matter what your notoriety is, what your fame is, if you come to Fulton County, Georgia, and you commit crimes, … you are going to become a target and a focus of this district attorney’s office, and we are going to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.”
