In a recent candid moment, Jess Hilarious opened up about the drama surrounding her co-host Loren Lorosa and expressed frustration with The Breakfast Club for not supporting her when critics began speaking negatively comparing her and Loren. Jess admitted that when Loren returned from maternity leave, she initially didn’t have the best feelings toward her, but upon reflection, she realized her anger was misplaced.

“I didn’t like Loren at first, but that anger wasn’t about her—it was because things were never explained to me,” Jess shared.

Jess also revealed that it was actually her decision to suggest that the “Jess with the Mess” segment be taken away from her and given to Loren. She stated that she wanted to create an opportunity for Loren to shine and do her own thing, a move that, in hindsight, seems to have added to the drama.

On top of that, Jess took a jab at The Breakfast Club, mentioning Angela Yee’s past issues with Charlamagne and DJ Envy, “Angela Yee ain’t that MF crazy, it’s a reason that lady wanted to leave that show,” Jess said, hinting at tensions within the show’s dynamic.

In a tense moment of honesty, Jess made it clear that there was more going on behind the scenes than what fans and critics may have realized, and it’s clear that the drama surrounding the show is far from over.
