Javaughn Young White, the former partner of singer Kehlani, has issued a strong statement demanding an apology and retraction from TMZ for what he claims is misleading and harmful coverage regarding his personal life and his daughter.

Details of the Statement

In his statement, Young White vehemently denied allegations made by TMZ, stating: “I never said that I think Santeria is a sex cult. Nor did I say that my daughter is in a sex cult. That’s factually incorrect and I think it’s disgusting that TMZ would exploit a child’s image like that.” He further criticized the outlet for sensationalizing aspects of his situation and breaching his confidentiality.

Young White also clarified that he was unaware of any court-ordered mediation as reported by TMZ and mentioned issues with the filing of his case, which was incomplete and unauthorized due to an error by his former counsel. He assured that an amended filing would soon illustrate his concerns more accurately.

He concluded by expressing his desire to clear the discrepancies made by TMZ, hoping for a formal retraction and apology: “This unfortunate trauma only increases the obstacles in ensuring my child’s wellbeing. For now, I am hoping to clear the discrepancies made by TMZ. I hope to see a formal retraction and apology.”
