Kenya Moore Takes Accountability For Exposing Explicit Photos Of Newbie Brittany Eady While Filming Season 16 Of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’

Kenya Moore is speaking out about the events that led to her departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Although she was one of the few cast members to remain after a major shake-up, Moore’s time on the show came to a swift end after she exposed sexually explicit images of her new co-star, Brittany Eady, during a filmed event.

During her interview on The Tamron Hall Show, Moore says she takes accountability and apologize for her actions. However, there were threats aimed at Kenya after an incident that caused her to expose the photos.

She described how, during a taping, the situation escalated when the new cast member became increasingly aggressive—ripping off microphones, shouting obscenities, and making threats toward her. Moore felt deeply threatened and expressed her concerns to the producers, who assured her that they would handle it. However, Moore felt the producers didn’t take her worries seriously, and she felt invalidated. “They actually made me feel like I was being a Black Karen,” she said.

Moore further explained how the situation left her feeling unsafe, especially as a single mother. “I’m a single mom with a beautiful child that if anything happened to me, no one would be there for her,” she said, reflecting on the emotional weight of the situation. When she felt unprotected, Moore took matters into her own hands, conducting her own research and uncovering explicit material that she believed was linked to the new cast member. Moore found these images online and chose to expose them during the filming, assuming the producers would edit them out of the final cut.

Moore revealed that she is still under contract with Bravo and hinted that she could appear at the RHOA Season 16 reunion, expressing the importance of sharing her side of the story. “I think it’s important to have my point of view because I haven’t done interviews, I haven’t had my say,” she said. “It’s unfortunate because I started off as a housewife — longest-running on this series — and now I don’t have a voice and that’s really hard.”

Although her time on RHOA may have come to a sudden end, Moore remains hopeful about her future with the network and is committed to moving forward while staying true to herself.
