LeBron James Makes History As The First Active NBA Player To Become A Billionaire

Lebron James just keep on stacking the accomplishments up. He has made nearly $400 million during his 20-year NBA career as of November 2021. James will make $44 million before his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers is up. He has now become the first active NBA player to become a billionaire. Lets tally up James’s fortune with his many successful business ventures. $300 million from The Spring Hill Company. This business venture has three companies in one. He has Blaze Pizza, Fenway Sports Group and multiple real estate properties.
James seem to have always known how to make good business moves. He passed on deals with Adidas and Reebok but signed a lifetime contract with Nike in 2015.
James spoke with GQ about becoming a billionaire.
“If it happens. It’s my biggest milestone,” he said at the time. “Obviously. I want to maximize my business. And if I happen to get it, if I happen to be a billion-dollar athlete, ho. Hip hip hooray! Oh, my God, I’m gonna be excited.”
Not only is he making big bank in the NBA and making great business deals, he starred in the 2021 film Space Jam: A New Legacy. The follow up to the 1996 blockbuster Space Jam starring Michael Jordan.
