Mathew Knowles, father of Beyoncé and former manager of Destiny’s Child, is making it clear that Kanye West’s controversial behavior, especially his recent attacks on Knowles’ family, will not go unpunished. Following Kanye’s offensive comments about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children, Mathew has spoken out, stressing that such actions in the music industry have consequences.

In an interview with TMZ, Mathew, who has worked in the industry for over 35 years, stated, “People pay a price for being stupid, especially in the music industry.” His words reflect his belief that West’s behavior won’t go unchallenged for much longer.

While Mathew acknowledged that Kanye’s ongoing rants may be fueled by mental health struggles, he expressed hope that West gets the help he needs. However, Mathew made it clear that there is a limit to the damage that can be done before it costs Kanye dearly.

Kanye’s latest controversy began when he targeted the 7-year-old twins of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Rumi and Sir. In two separate posts on X (formerly Twitter), West used a derogatory term to describe their mental capacity. This personal attack has only intensified the tension between Kanye and the Knowles-Carter family.

Mathew’s warning signals that, despite Kanye’s fame and status, there is a reckoning ahead if the behavior continues.
