Mayor Eric Adams Introduces New NYC Trash Bins to Combat Rat Problem

Starting November 12, residential buildings with one to nine units must use these secure, affordable bins. The initiative seeks to eliminate black trash bags from streets and containerize 70% of the city’s annual trash by 2026, enhancing cleanliness and efficiency.
