Meet The Equalizer 2′ Rising Star KAZY TAUGINAS

Former Restaurateur, and Golden Gloves boxer “Kazy Tauginas” is not only prominent in the ring but on the big screens. Joining the Columbia Pictures “The Equalizer 2” is just one of his many break-out or may I say knock out roles.

Joining the Columbia Pictures “The Equalizer 2” is just one of many break-out or may I say knock out roles.  Not only did he work alongside Denzel Washington he was the enemy in the film and playing the villain or the bad guy is always a memorable introduction. Before graduating from the prestigious New York Film Academy he has numerous theatre, film and television roles, including “Person of Interest,” “Blindspot,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Blue Bloods,” “Sneaky Pete,” “John Wick,” and next week he can be seen in “The Good Cop” on Netflix.  He not only studied and graduated from NYFA but also starred and produced is own film called the “Standing Eight”. In addition, to his very complex character on and off screen, he’s also very much involved in goodwill and philanthropic initiatives. With his mom suffering from Lupus, he became and lupus advocate for a long time.  Also, in order to increase more awareness, he created and produced the award-winning short film “STANDING EIGHT”, about a boxer who gets diagnosed with lupus.
