Melody Shari Continues to Rise to the Occasion: Seventh Avenue Beauty Takes Center Stage in #ShopBlackOwned TikTok Campaign

Melody Shari, the serial entrepreneur behind Seventh Avenue Beauty, has once again proven why she’s a force to be reckoned with. Her brand has been selected as one of just two Alabama-based businesses to headline TikTok’s #ShopBlackOwned campaign, an initiative aimed at amplifying the voices and presence of Black-owned businesses and creators.
This remarkable achievement follows closely on the heels of Melody’s record-breaking TikTok Live performance, where she set the platform’s record for the longest view time on a shoppable Live earlier this month. The milestone doesn’t come as a surprise, though—Melody’s ability to engage and captivate her audience has been a consistent hallmark of her success.
Since becoming a leading entrepreneur at the age of 25, and creating multimillion-dollar businesses by 28, Melody has proven time and again that she’s not just about building brands but making waves. Seventh Avenue Beauty, known for its vegan, natural, paraben-free skincare, body, and hair products, continues to receive overwhelming praise from loyal customers who can’t get enough of her offerings.
With her latest success in the spotlight, Melody is showing no signs of slowing down. Her achievements on TikTok, combined with her business acumen, solidify her status as a top-tier entrepreneur. She credits much of her success to her dedicated team, recognizing that their support plays a crucial role in making her dreams a reality.
For Melody, this campaign also represents a full-circle moment. “When you’re obedient to what God has instructed you to do, there are blessings waiting that have been held up,” she shares. “It’s always been a goal of mine to highlight Alabama and combat the stereotypes. We have some amazing, highly educated, and business-savvy people here.”
Melody is thrilled about the opportunity to shine a light on Black-owned businesses this February and beyond. She invites everyone to join her TikTok live on February 22, from 2-10pm CST, for her #ShopBlackOwned event (@melodyshari11).
