Method Man and Kelly Rowland are set to star in Relationship Goals, a new romantic comedy based on Michael Todd’s bestselling book Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex, reports Deadline. The film, inspired by Todd’s viral sermon series, which topped the New York Times bestseller list and Amazon’s No. 1 spot, will be released through Amazon MGM Studios.

Directed by Linda Mendoza, known for Harlem and Survival of the Thickest, the film features a script written by Laura Lekkos. It will also star Robin Thede and Annie Gonzalez. The story revolves around the ups and downs of finding and maintaining lasting love at different stages of courtship, delivering both humor and inspiration.

Method Man, who has gained recognition for his role as attorney Davis MacLean in Power Book II: Ghost, will bring his acting talents to this new comedy. He has also appeared in Bad Shabbos, On the Come Up on Paramount+, and is slated to appear in Poetic License and Poker Face Season 2.

Kelly Rowland, best known for her roles in Think Like A Man, Freddy vs. Jason, and Mea Culpa, brings her acting and producing expertise to the project. Rowland has also made her mark in television, having executive produced Chasing Destiny and co-produced Milk + Honey with Idris Elba and Issa Rae.

Relationship Goals promises to be a heartwarming and entertaining exploration of modern romance, set to captivate audiences upon its release.
