Mike Tyson Finally Addresses JetBlue Attack

Published

on

Iron Mike Tyson has finally broke his silence about getting physical on a JetBlue flight with an out-of-control passenger. Using his own platform, Mike Tyson expressed his dismay on his podcast ‘Hotboxin’. He made it very clear that he’s relieved the San Mateo County D.A. decided not to charge the former Heavyweight champion for battery.

Tyson also said he wished he never flew on a commercial flight.

In a series of videos, (obtained by TMZ), Tyson is seen punching away at the man after getting harassed even before the plane took off.

Reps for Tyson had alleged the man threw a water bottle at him and annoyed him repeatedly prior to the attack. An attorney for the man, meanwhile, had argued no bottle was thrown — and blamed the incident on his client being “overly excited.”

On his podcast Iron Mike said, “He was f***ing with me, man. I took pictures with this n****.”

Mike says he knows there’s always the chance someone will become “overly excited,” and that’s why his wife has been on him not to fly commercial.

“I shouldn’t even be taking public planes.”

Tyson acknowledges that situations like the JetBlue incident “trigger” him and ultimately it’s a lose/lose situation.

While the San Mateo County D.A. isn’t pressing charges, the ‘victim’ has hired a lawyer and its still unclear on whether Mike Tyson will have to financially compensate the man.
