Moneybagg Yo Served With Lawsuit Papers At Bottle Signing In Las Vegas

Moneybagg Yo was served with Lawsuit papers while at his Del Dia tequila bottle signing in Las Vegas. A woman approached Bagg’s table and after he signed the bottle she handed over the papers and says “You’ve Been Served” as the rapper looks up confused. She places the papers on the table and exit.

The rapper is being sued by a promoter, Affiliate Nation for breach of contract. The lawsuit claims that the defendant, Affiliate Nation, agreed to pay Moneybagg Yo, whose real name is #DeMarioDeWayneWhiteJr, a deposit to secure a headlining performance at the 1st Annual Summer Fest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 4, 2021. They agreed that the remaining balance was to be paid upon successful completion of Moneybagg Yo’s headlining performance at the Fest.

However, despite agreeing to the terms, Affiliate Nation claims that Moneybagg booked a separate performance on the same date as the festival with a different promoter. The Memphis rapper took to Instagram and explained to fans that he’d be unable to make the show due to “scheduling issues with the PJ.” He allegedly agreed to make up the original performance at a later date but has apparently failed to do so. The defendant, Affiliate Nation, is seeking a refund of their deposit, including reasonable damages, attorney’s fees, and court costs incurred to prosecute their claims.
